About Me

Hello! My name is Ghaleeb Hakim and I'm from northern Virginia. I'm a third-year student studying mechanical engineering at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia.

I really enjoy working on projects that challenge me, especially ones that are cutting edge and/or in the aerospace industry. But more importantly, I highly value working in a team of similarly excited and driven people.

Outside of my professional work, I love spending time with friends and family and enjoying various outdoor sports.

I've recently been very into running - I'm currently training for a marathon in November 2025. I also enjoy playing the piano, I just recently learned to play Viva La Vida by Coldplay. In my free time, I also like playing pickleball, traveling, salsa dancing, lifting,  photography & videography, and reading. 

I love trying new things and I find a lot of fun in learning new skills.
